The Living Legends took a massive step towards reclaiming the title they last held in 2009 by defeating the Jive Galaxy Warriors on the grass in Struisbaai on Friday. The result officially put paid to the JGW chances of retaining their title.
The Living Legends are in a prime position with only one leg remaining and have a comanding 5 point lead over the second placed Two a Transport Warriors. The Warriors must win at Stilbaai and hope that the Legends get knocked out in the Quarter Finals to claim the title which would be a massive achievement.
The Struisbaai event was held in almost perfect conditions and 34 teams took part in a great tournament.
The Open tournament was won by the Pacific Blues.
All the action moves to Stilbaai on Monday the 26th where record numbers are expected. See you all there!
