Score Energy Warriors Come Good at Stilbaai

The Crowds returned and the weather stayed good for the 34th edition of Stilbaai Touchies. 49 teams registered for the tournament and the action was once again rivoting from the start…

The Amazing Galaxy Warriors required 4 points to seal the series and when the Score Energy Warriors knocked them out of the tournament in the Quarter Finals, their dream was in tatters.

The door was open for the Four Cousins Living Legends and if they could win the final at Stilbaai, they could take the series from under the Warriors nose.

It was not to be however, as the Score Energy Warriors were determined to take Stilbaai after a disapointing series to this point and this determination came through with them beating the Legends in the Semi Final thus crowning the Amazing Galaxy Warriors as Grand Prix winners for the second time in 3 years.

The final was a great game with the Score Energy Warriors coming up against the surprise package of the series, the Quali Dwergies. The Dwergies have been consistant all series and they got their reward of a final in Stilbaai. It was unfortunately not to be their day and they were narrowly beaten by the Warriors 2-1.

The Open Tournament was won by the Four Cousins Living Legends 2.

The action moves to Hartenbos on Friday
