Jive Galaxy Warriors Blow Series Wide Open

The defending Series Champion Jive Galaxy Warriors blew the series wide open on Sunday by firstly defeating the Living Legends in the Semi Final and then rounding off a great day by winning the final against an exhausted Reds team, who had also caused a big upset earlier, beating the table topping Two a Transport Warriors in a nail biting and energy sapping Sudden death extra time.

What can only be described as idilic weather conditions in the beatiful coastal town of Onrus greeted 32 teams for an increadible day.

Onrus is known for its soft sand and it was always going to be a tough day for the players in the stifling heat.

The result means that six teams have a mathematical chance of winning the series with 2 events left… Click here for Log Standings

The Open Series is being dominated by the Newborn Rebels who again won this section by beating the Touchformers 2 team, and the Tribal Kings also won their second Plate of the series defeating the Dhl Barbarians in the final.

The action moves to Struisbaai on Friday…
